How to Revoke Conflicting Third-Party Authorizations on eBay
Once you've authorized your eVendor account with eBay &mdash and given us permission to automatically apply our free tools to your listings for you &mdash you should be aware of the number of third-party applications and add-ons that you're including in your listing pages. Not all third-party applications and service providers are compatible, and combining too many add-ons in one listing can result in pages with broken code and distorted appearances.
In order to create the most professional-looking listings possible, you should avoid adding duplicate tools from separate service providers. For example, it is best not to create a listing using one of eVendor's free template designs along with a customized template from another site or company. If you want to prevent this issue all together, you can go to eBay.com and revoke any third-party authorizations that may interfere with the free eVendor services you plan to use.
To complete this task, you'll need to sign into your applicable eBay account and visit this page to view your preferences. Under General Preferences, you'll see a sub-heading entitled "Third-party authorizations."
- Click on the "Show" option to the right of this sub-heading; this will reveal all of the third-party applications that you've already authorized with eBay. eVendor should appear in this list. Below is a sample list of authorizations from an eBay account.
- There will be checkboxes next to each of these applications, allowing you to invalidate their authorized status when necessary. Click on the checkboxes for each conflicting authorization you'd like to revoke.
- Press the "Apply" button at the bottom of this list.
Now that you've granted authorization to eVendor and removed any authorizations that could interfere with our free tools and services, you should be able to avoid the third-party compatibility issues that arise when sellers create listings with multiple add-ons.
